Hackney has four Children & Family Hubs, which are child-friendly spaces that offer free activities and services for families with children up to age 19 (or 25 for those with special educational needs or disabilities), along with opportunities to connect with other local families.
The hubs bring together services from the council, health professionals, and community and voluntary organisations — all in one place. You can also find some services and activities in our children’s centres, as well as health centres, libraries, Young Hackney youth hubs, and community centres. Some services, such as health visiting and family support, can come directly to your home.
