Moorside Primary School

PE and Sports Premium

At Moorside Primary School, we receive PE and Sport Premium funding to improve the quality of physical education (PE) and sport provision for our pupils. This government funding is provided to help primary schools improve the quality of PE and sport activities they offer.
We are committed to using this funding effectively to make a sustainable impact on our pupils' physical health, wellbeing, and sporting opportunities, both now and in the future.
Below you'll find information about how we use our PE and Sport Premium funding, the impact it has on our pupils, and our plans for the future.

How We Measure Impact
We regularly review and evaluate the impact of our PE and Sport Premium spending to ensure it delivers the best outcomes for our pupils. This includes monitoring:
• Participation rates in PE and sport activities
• Pupils' physical fitness and wellbeing
• Achievement in competitive sports
• Pupils' confidence and enjoyment of physical activity
• The quality of PE teaching
• Sustainability of improvements
